This picture is from when I left to go back to Michigan back in December. Silly me completely forgot my camera when I went to MEPS the day that he shipped. I am STILL very upset with myself. I love it because every time I look at it I feel safe. Let's face it what more could I ask for. I will have a reunion picture of us though in just 27 more days!!!!!!!

Day 8!
Day 8 - Post your favorite deployment pic (a pic of see u laters, him coming home, or him deployed) and tell why it is your favorite
Day 7!
Yes day 7 is a day late. I know I'm slacking. Yesterday was so hectic that I didn't have time to. I woke up went shopping for things for a girls sleepover. As I was shopping I was in such a great mood for I don't know what reason but I was. I decided that I was going to buy Ross his new iPhone and send it to him as a surprise. I went and spoke with the guys at AT&T and they reassured me that if bought his new phone his old one would still work as long as they didn't activate his SIM card. So I went ahead and got him his new iPhone!!!
Well later that day I got a call from a weird number. I didn't think anything of it and didn't answer because I was with a group of people. It was Ross, they got phone privileges and guess what.... His phone wasn't working. He called me from a pay phone. Thank goodness I sent him with calling cards. Anyway I was LIVID!!!! I hurried up and call AT&T and asked them what was going on. As I was talking to him Ross had called his mom and she brought me the phone. He was NOT happy. But in the end we talked until the calling cards ran out. By the time they ran out AT&T fixed it!!! So yay for being able to talk to him even longer.
But they were able to call because orders were posted and as you can see I am headed to Kansas.... Still unsure of how I feel. I am however looking at it as an adventure. Also, looking on the bright sides of things. The hunting in Kansas is phenomenal. :)

This is actually Ross' best friend from high school. Seeing as Ross is still in Basic I haven't met many people because he's in the military. So instead I posted a picture of the person that helps me through things. We have become very close. I don't know what I would do with out him.
Meet the new Dorothy!
I know I am behind and I will catch up tonight. Really quick though. I got a call from Ross yesterday!!! Side note: Had big time issues with his phone I'll explain later. He got his FDS! I was excited that was until he told me we are heading to Ft Riley, KS. I am in complete shock right now. That wasn't even on our radar of places. I'm still SHOCKED.
Ok I'll write again later and catch up but for now this girl is going to try and wrap her head around moving to Kansas.

Day 6!
Sorry this is a little late. But after the day I had yesterday I had to go to bed before something else happened.
It started out good. The mailman came extra early, and for those of you that have had a husband go through BCT you know what that mailman means to you. After that it went down hill. On monday I took my car to the mechanic to get a noise checked out. I got the call yesterday, yulp going to cost $1000!!! I do have to say one of the problems the mechanic said it was because who ever changed my breaks before didn't tighten it up. Well Hello they were the ones that just did my breaks last month!! But a girls gotta have her car....
Day 6 - post a picture of the base your man is at and tell 5 cool things about that base

I have yet to be to Fort Benning but I will try my best to think of 5 things so far.
- They are doing amazing things turning my hubby into well rounded man.
- His DS let his platoon call home at the end of only week 2!! We have a friend that used to be a DS at Benning and when I told him this, after I got off the phone, he about had a heart attack he was so stunned. He said to count my blessings because this NEVER happens.
- We reserved cabins on the premiss to stay in for both the 36 hour pass and graduation.
- It's only 6 hours from Orlando!! Which is where I will be in 20 days!!!!!! And then I will be driving up from there.
- Fort Benning has my HUBBY!!!! How much cooler can they get? ;)

Wow I can't believe that it is already day 5! My countdown continues as I'll be in FL in just 22 VERY short days. And in GA in 29 days!!!!!! Then I get to see the hubby in 30 days!!! Time better continue to go fast. I am getting more and more excited as the time goes by.
I have so much to do and so little time. Here is my schedule for the rest of the time:
I have so much to do and so little time. Here is my schedule for the rest of the time:
- April 1 - Girl's "Sleep over" with my Mother in laws family in Dayton, OH
- April 5-10 - Michigan - I am going to my hometown to visit with family. Also, we are throwing a surprise med school graduation party for my brother. It will be the first time since Thanksgiving we all got together. Sadly, Ross isn't going to be there. Everyone hasn't been together since my brother's wedding which was August 2009!!
- April 16-20 - Dog sitting for my in laws. They are off to Chicago for 5 days, and they aren't taking me... the nerve. LOL :)
- April 21-28 - FLORIDA!!! I am going and visiting friends and hopefully getting a TAN! :)
- April 28-May 1 - FORT BENNING!!!!! I get to see the hubby!
Now on to the list of things that need to get done prior to me leaving for FLORIDA! (if you can't tell I LOVE lists)
- Find a CUTE outfit to pick the hubby up for the pass
- Get summer clothes for Florida. I have actually lost almost 20 lbs since Ross has left so nothing fits me :)
- Organize our storage unit
- Get the new tags for the cars
Ok that's all that I can think of but I know there is more.
Day 5 - post a pic of the branch he is in and list your favorite thing about him being in the military:
Ross hasn't been in for long but I do have to say I love the pride that both of us have gained. It is a different feeling now knowing that my husband is going to be protecting this country we love so much.

Day 4!
Today has been a very adventurous day. On sunday when I spoke to Ross he wanted me to get him some cushioned socks and compression shorts to send to him. Yesterday my MIL and I looked everywhere for the right socks NOTHING. So we decided last night that we would head over to Wright Patt Air Force Base and go to the BX there. I have never been on any type of military base, so I had no idea what to expect. When we pulled up to the gate I instantly had an anxiety attack. I felt as though I couldn't breathe. It was very odd especially for me. I am usually a go with the flow type of girl but today. I don't know what had gotten in to me. My thinking is because the military is going to be my way of living now and I don't know hardly anything about it and it is stressing me out.
Day 4 - Post a picture of the family he had to leave behind to protect his country
